Are you a budding photographer? If so, you might be looking for a good semi-professional digital SLR camera. Here at the Bumblefucked household we were in the same boat. After some research, we concluded that the Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12MP Digital SLR Camera was the best choice for the wannabe pro photographer. Reviews that compared it to cameras like the 40D showed that the Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12MP Digital SLR Camera was the best option. Plus the price is not all that bad.

After searching both on the web and in B&M stores, it was clear that the best price to be had was through Amazon. I paid $679 for mine and it is at an all-time low right now on Amazon for only $640 with a lens.

There has not been a whole lot of usage of the camera yet here in the Bumblefucked household. But from the usage so far, here are the things that I can tell you.

• This camera takes amazing pictures
• There is a LOT to learn - tons of different settings and such
• The quality between this and say a Canon SD1000 is truly noticeable
• This blows away the Nikon pro film camera we used to have
